EARTH DAY ON MAYDAY PADDLE . “CLEAN THE PLANET, PADDLE FOR FREE” Empire Kayaks celebrated Earth Day by offering a free hour of paddling. To receive your free hour, you had to pick up some litter while you were on the water. Thanks to everyone who made the beautiful waters surrounding Empire Kayaks even more beautiful..

S.U.P.D. DAY Empire Kayaks will again be hosting a fun free demo of some of the Special Unique Products and Stand Up Paddleboards we sell in 2012. Great way to try out the latest greatest sport of Stand Up Paddleboards. See what all the excitement is about with the Hobie Mirage Drive pedal kayaks especially the updated Tandem Island and check out the latest thermoformed kayaks from Eddyline. Date to be announced.

YOGA PADDLES For six months out of the year we combine two magnificent activities. We kayak over to a park and have an instructor lead us through a session of yoga. Then we paddle back to Empire for a continental breakfast. Don't miss the bliss in 2012!

FULL MOON DINNER PADDLES The tradition will continue in 2012. When the moon's full, the tide's high and we paddle to Jordans Lobster for dinner under the moonlit sky. These paddles are so popular, we add a couple of dates when the moon isn't so full. Be a part of these marvelous nights on the water!

S.U.P.er FIT TOURS Our fitness classes on the Stand Up Paddleboards were a big hit this past summer at Empire Kayaks. Our fitness expert Chris C. did a great job of balancing the classes keeping it fun and challenging. Lots more SUP fun in 2012

BIKAYAK TOURS Empire Kayaks Bikayak tours were a huge hit this past season. A 25 mile bike tour through the barrier island of Long Beach and back to Empire where we launch our kayaks for a 3 mile tour on the bay. All you need for these tours are a bike, a helmet and a good attitude. Make sure you have all three in '12.

AFTER WORK RENTALS On the Wednesdays surrounding the summer sosltice enjoy the long daylight hours by heading to Empire for an after work rental that doesn't have to be back in until 7:45pm.

MARSH MADNESS TOURS These guided 1.5 hour tours through the cuts of nearby Garrett Marsh are run throughout the summer. Matt our marine biologist leads these family friendly tours while explaining the unique ecosystem of the marshes and always finds a way to keep them entertaining and informative.

FIREWORKS PADDLE . We leave the beach at Empire Kayaks at 8:45pm and paddle to where we have an unobstructed view of the Pt Lookout fireworks. This patriotic paddle is one of our most popular trips every year. Register early!
